León, 1997
In 1892 the Casa Botines in León (Spain) was built by Antonio Gaudì. It was renovated in 1997.
Ingo Maurer accepted the challenge of the ingenious architecture and created a special light. The result was a ribbon of 5 meters length and 110 cm width, which was bent and gold-plated.

Since 1997 Ingo Maurer has created several versions of the Golden Ribbon.
