Ms. Bowjangles
Anna Boch, David Engelhorn, 2023
The characteristic arch that gives Ms. Bowjangles its name is created by a spring steel rod covered with coloured fabric. The orange or olive green rope, which seems to climb effortlessly up a 1.40 metre high support rod, wraps around an elegant black metal shade. It appears as if the shade is held in place solely by the twists of the rope. The asymmetrical silhouette interacts dynamically with the support rod, creating clear lines and curves in the design of Ms. Bowjangles. With the black clamp mount, Ms. Bowjangles can be mounted on the wall without a base. An additional base plate with a rod turns it into a floor lamp. Both versions are very easy to adjust in height and can be moved to where the light is needed in just a few simple steps. A touch sensor at the top of the rope allows the light to be switched on and dimmed.

Ms. Bowjangles Family
