ManOMan
ManOMan is an airy, mobile-like sculpture with a lightweight and highly functional design. It works on ceilings where complex electrical wiring is neither necessary, nor possible. A wide diffusion of glare-free light makes it practical for effectively illuminating a variety of spaces.
Ingo Maurer and his team created ManOMan as a light-object that fuses the eloquent and airy feature of the sculptural form with quality indirect lighting.
ManOMan has a diameter of approx. 300 cm and a height of approx. 45 cm. Each of the seven arms are equipped with two 48 watt halogen bulbs.

A selection of the MaMo Nouchies and the large LED object "Rose, Rose on the Wall" will be featured, next to a BMW Individual 7 Series Composition inspired by Steinway & Sons. In the hourglass shaped tower at the entrance to the building, several of Ingo Maurer‘s products and objects will be exhibited from April 1, 2011. Seven glass cases illustrate both Ingo Maurer‘s approach to design and some themes which are central to his work.
