Installation for event in São Paulo

As a conclusion of the Light Week and the LEDforum 2023 in Sao Paulo, the most important lighting design event in Brazil, the Lighting Lovers Party traditionally took place in the showroom of Fas Iluminação. Due to the long-standing partnership with FAS, Ingo Maurer was commissioned to design the entrance area of the showroom for the event. For this, the idea of the installation from Milan was further developed and rethought for the on-site premises, a large entrance area with a long tunnel leading to the exhibition area.
FAS was born as the exclusive representative of Ingo Maurer in Latin America. In 2016, their showroom was opened in São Paulo, Brazil. For the planning of the building and the exhibition, Ingo Maurer and team worked closely with the Brazilian partners. As in Munich (and New York at the time), where Ingo Maurer himself has a showroom, many unique pieces are on display in the FAS showroom in São Paulo, including a Golden Ribbon and two Porca Miseria! One of them is a special version that Ingo Maurer designed in the summer of 2016 to express his attachment to the country and the FAS Iluminação. But the lamps from the collection are not neglected either. Almost the entire current programme is beautifully and generously staged (Planning & Installation Ingo Maurer Team: Hagen Sczech and Axel Schmid).

At the imm cologne, Ingo Maurer will be exhibiting new products and classics from the collection at the Design Post Cologne from 04 to 07 June 2023. Visit our showroom and experience products by Ingo Maurer alongside other renowned brands from 11 countries.
The Design Post Cologne is a showroom and platform covering an area of more than 3,500 square metres, where Ingo Maurer has been a brand partner since 2016.
Milan Design Week + Euroluce 2023

Ingo Maurer was located in two places in Milan this year: at the Fiera and in the city at Porta Nuova. The Ingo Maurer team showed the new products and classics of the collection not only during the Salone del Mobile.Milano trade fair but also at an unusual location in the centre of Milan. At Porta Nuova / Caselli, a large installation with reflecting sails hung over a "carpet"; a 30-metre-long platform painted with fluorescent colours that ran through the old city gate. In the Caselli's outbuildings, Ingo Maurer presented the new products in a creative way in seven rooms. Ingo Maurer created a place that, with its colours and reflections both in daylight and at night, was an impressive symbiosis of (light) art and architecture during Milan Design Week.
